Climbers may now access Nam Phong National Park for bouldering. The Meadow Sector opened in November 2025, and the West Eucalyptus Sector will reopen in November 2026. This is the first national park in Thailand where climbing is permitted. If you intend to visit and climb at the Hin Changsi climbing area in the Meadow sector, please be careful and maintain the area tidy. There is a coffee shop with a breathtaking view of Ubonrat Lake and Pho Viang National Park in the same location as the restrooms, which are five minutes away at the end of the road.
