YOUR DONATION IS SUPPORTING SPORT CLIMBING IN NORTH EAST THAILAND
Outdoor climbing development in the Khon Kaen area of North East Thailand has depended entirely on cash donations of generous private individuals. If you want more rocks to climb on in our area or help guarantee the safety of climbing in North East Thailand, please donate to KK Adventure Sports or Khon Kaen Climbing Club.

What will happen to my donation?
Your money will be used to purchase various equipment/hardware, such as:
– Expansion bolts (for routes and route anchors)
– Hangers
– Anchors, Carabiners, ropes
– Drill + Battery + Component replacements
Funds will also be used for all related activity surrounding crag development and maintenance, such as bolt/anchor replacement projects, access development, and volunteers’ allowances.
How much should I donate?
Any amount will be greatly appreciated. But as a guide in bolting, each 316 Stainless steel bolt costs 3,00 USD depending on the length (route bolts are 10x90mm, anchors are 12x100mm) and each stainless steel hanger costs about 3.50 USD. A typical route consists of eight to eleven route bolts and two anchors. Anchor chains or carabiners would cost extra.
What can I get in return?
Fame and fortune! You’ll be known as the generous and compassionate climber and gain more friends. More directly (and seriously), this makes your climbing playground bigger and increase in number. And that just makes everyone happier, doesn’t it?
How do I know my money’s not going to some greedy person’s pockets?
Khon Kaen Climbing Club and KK adventure Sports works with prime movers of sport climbing in the country. These are a mix of gym owners/managers, climbing instructors, competition route-setters, national athletes, or simply the most active rock climbers in their respective regions/provinces.
Needless to say, developing and caring for our crags is a purely voluntary effort, and all contributions are non tax-deductible. We also do our very best to be transparent with the donations we receive, which you can see more about here.

We accept all major credit cards and Debit cards; Paypal is an accepted method of payment processing for any of our donations. You can pay by credit card this way without joining Paypal yourself, or you can open a Paypal account, if you wish. Payments are made directly online (and any personal details are protected through our secure server) – we do not take or store any credit card information, this is done at Paypal’s site.
We have a verified account with Paypal which means that we have provided proof of our personal details, bank account, and address.
